Desde las Pampas

 

 Encontré unos bocetos de un cuadro que hice y vendí hace años, con las típicas cortaderas de la pampa Argentina...

Hola amigos, me hicieron una entrevista muy linda en la revista del bus turístico de la ciudad de Buenos Aires,  By Bus, una publicación bimestral de turismo en Buenos Aires de entrega gratuita a los pasajeros del Buenos Aires Bus en distintos puntos de la ciudad. 

La entrevista habla de mi relevamiento que hice sobre los graffitis e hicieron un muy buen resumen de todo mis trabajos, especialmente las túnicas que se basan en ellos.

La revista se edita en español, inglés y portugués y tiene una tirada de 20.000 ejemplares.

Hello friends, I had a very nice interview in the magazine's bus tour of the city of Buenos Aires, By Bus. a bimonthly publication of tourism in Buenos Aires that comes for free given to passengers of the Buenos Aires Bus in different parts of the city.  

The interview talks about the reserch I've made of the graffitis and made a very good brief of all my art works, specially my tunics that are based on them.

The magazine is published in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has a circulation of 20,000 copies.

Hace dos años tomé el bus turístico con mis amigas y la verdad es que fue un placer. Es una verdadera experiencia poder ser turista un día en tu propia ciudad y tener otra mirada del lugar donde vivimos todos los días. 

Éstos son agunos de los lugares que se pueden ver desde el Bus... vale la pena!!

Two years ago I took the tour bus with my friends and the truth is it was a pleasure. It's a real experience to be a tourist one day in your own town and take another look at where we live every day.

Otoño en mi jardín / Autumn in my garden

Soy mas amante del calor que el frío, pero los colores del otoño nunca dejan de sorprenderme.

I'm more a warmth lover than a cold one, but the fall colors never stop to amaze me.

Nuevos almohadones: serigrafía sobre lino/ New pillows: screenprint over linen

Adoro el lino por su suavidad y nobleza como desde su materia prima. Es muy vertatil tanto para vestir como para deco, tapicería, objetos de deco, accesorios y hasta joyería, como algunos nuevos diseñadores la utilizan. También tiene excelentes resultados para imprimir en serigrafía, como pueden ver en estos dos almohadones. Los corazones fueron diseñados a partir de los arabescos que realicé en  una de mis túnicas.
Si se te ocurre otras utilizaciones del lino o vos lo usas como soporte para tus realizaciones  me encantaría que lo compartas con nosotros.

I adore linen for its softness and nobility as for its raw material. Is very vertatil  much dress as for deco, upholstery, decorative items, accessories and even jewelry, as some of the new designers uses. It also has an excellent screenprint results as you can see in these two cushions. Hearts were designed pulled from the arabesques that I made in one of my tunics.
If you know of other uses of linen or you use it to maket your outputs I'd love you share it with us.

New card sets

You can take a look to these new card sets, one set of 3 cards with a grey monogram, one set of 4 "pocker" papergood cards and one set of 3 pattern embossed cards (no ink but a deep relief).
What I love about these sets is that you can feel the relief and texture with just a tap with your fingers and, depending on where the light comes, the shadows plays with the paper textures.
They are all made in my studio and you can see some pictures here.
I love printing things and making an everyday useful things from my designs.

Podes echar un vistazo a estos nuevos sets de tarjetas, un juego de 3 tarjetas con un monograma gris, un conjunto de 4 cartas papergood "pocker" y un conjunto de tres tarjetas una trama en relieve (sin tinta, sino un alivio profundo).

Lo que mas me gusta de estos sets, es que podes sentir el relieve y la textura con un simple toque con tus dedos y dependiendo de donde viene la luz, las sombras juegan con las texturas del papel

Todos están hechos en mi estudio y se puede ver algunas fotos aquí. 

Me encanta imprimir cosas y hacer cosas útiles con mis diseños.

Hello friends, here are my new items in my recent Etsy Shop. I'm slowly posting new items in my shop and will be showing here the work in progress for some products.

When a friend saw my screenprinted tablecloths, she asked me if I could make some bags for storage or for keeping things tidy, specially in a trip, so I made this set with her great idea.

These bags are specially designed with a pattern pulled from my art work.
They are ideal for storage, travel, gift, special ocations like bride shower, birthday's gift.
Two bags are 14" x 11"size, ideal for keeping underware and shoes in a trip and one is 18" x 15", for keeping dirty clothes for laudry. These one comes with a red burgundy ribbon but there are a lot more with diferent colour ribbons. Everything is handmade and handprinted.

Hola amigos, aquí están mis nuevos artículos de mi reciente tienda en Etsy. Poco a poco estoy publicando nuevos artículos en mi tienda y aquí voy a estar mostrando el proceso del trabajo de algunos productos.

Cuando un amiga vió mis manteles hechos en serigrafía, me preguntó si yo podría hacer algunas bolsas para el almacenar o para mantener las cosas ordenadas, especialmente en un viaje, así que hice este conjunto con su gran idea.

Estas bolsas están especialmente diseñadas con un diseño basado  en mi obra de arte, ideal para el almacenamiento, viajes, regalos, ocaciones especiales, como despedida de soltera, regalo de cumpleaños, de un tamaño, etc.

Dos bolsas son de  35,5 x 29,9 cm ideales para guardar ropa interior o zapatos en un viaje y una de 45,5 x 38,1 aprox, para guardar ropa sucia para la lavandería. Este viene con una cinta roja de Borgoña, pero hay muchos más con cintas de colores diferentes. Todo está hecho a mano e impreso a mano.

Tablecloth Cecilia

I made this tablecloth for a client, Cecilia, that was a pleasure to do. She choosed one of my designs, the fabric color and the pattern, but let me worked freely. She said ” I love everithing  you do, so work as free as you like. I rather like not a regular pattern so it speaks more about a handmade process.” Lovely, isn’t she?
The colours choosen by her ended to be such a great swatch that I now have it shown in my catalog. It is a pleasure to work with all my client confidence. Thanks Cecilia!

Hice este mantel para una clienta, Cecilia, y fue un placer. Ella eligió uno de mis diseños, el color de la tela y la trama, pero me permitió trabajar libremente. Ella dijo: "Amo todo lo que haces, así que trabajá tan libre como quieras. Prefiero que no sea una trama regular por lo que habla más acerca de un proceso artesanal. "Bonito, ¿verdad?
Los colores elegidos por ella quedaron tan bien, que ahora los tengo de muestra en mi catálogo. Es un placer trabajar con toda la confianza de los clientes. Gracias Cecilia!
